Life after sport starts with the right connections

Nexus is an initiative of the Roaring Forties Club, launched in 2023 to support elite amateur athletes as they transition out of competition and into business. Every year, the Nexus Forum brings together current and former athletes with the Club's network of business leaders — opening doors that are otherwise hard to find from inside a sporting career.

For athletes, Nexus is a way in: mentorship from people who've built the kind of career they're aiming for, introductions across the Club's business network, and — through initiatives like the Nexus scholarship program — direct pathways into further study and employment. For the Club, it's a chance to back the next generation and welcome them into the Roaring Forties community.
